Organization. Marketing. Website. Social Media. Invoicing. We're going to touch on it all in the 6 week bootcamp. This will be a LIVE bootcamp with weekly meetings and resources - I'll walk you though all you need to do to jumpstart your studio and business for 2022.
Each weekly topic will alternating to a different business skill for musicians and studio owners. We will touch on that topic, giving you enough information that you can dig as deep as you want to for that particular topic. Perhaps you need to start your social media from scratch - or perhaps you need to tighten it to gain more students. We'll cover both the overview AND give you a chance to work more in-depth should you want to.
Weekly meetings will be Tuesdays 12PM Central starting the second week in January, 2022. All meetings will be recorded if you can't make it live. During the week, chat with me and fellow classmates in our online discussion groups.

Kathy Winston
Dr. Kathy Winston holds a doctorate of musical arts (DMA) in music education, piano pedagogy from the University of Texas-Austin. Her other degrees include a MM in Piano performance from SMU and a BM in Piano Performance from Trinity University. She is an active piano teacher in the Austin, TX area. Dr. Winston founded Velocity Music Academy in Cedar Park, TX and was the executive director and business owner from 2010-2020. She is also the founder and course creator at Piano Program, providing music theory courses and resources to teachers. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Winston provides consulting to studio and business owners. In her free time, you'll find her being mom to her two amazing teens, gardening in her backyard garden, and hiking around town with her pups.

All live classes are recorded if you can't make a meeting. A chat group and Facebook group will be available for members to ask questions between weeks of classes. Each week of class will not only include a live class, but also resources, links, and documents to help you get your studio in tip-top shape.
